In business for over 20 years, this niche retailer has over 25 store locations in 4 states, as well as a robust ecommerce website. The company sells a variety of apparel and specialty lifestyle supplies from well-known brands.

The Objective

Given the regional centralization of its stores, the company wanted to increase brand awareness and drive more online sales in new states where it didn’t have a physical presence. MoreVisibility selected Search Engine Marketing and Display advertising to help gain a wider reach, increase market share, and drive sustainable revenue.

The Solution

MoreVisibility employed several strategies including:

 
  • Analyzed current demographics and audiences where “brick and mortar” stores are located.
  • Researched brand recognition for inventory carried by the company in other geographic areas through the United States.
  • Tested multiple markets to see which areas had the best response.

After launching the campaigns, MoreVisibility was able to identify several new states to expand the company’s reach in, thus allowing the company to expand beyond the locations where it was already known.

While all the new-state campaigns were profitable, initial data demonstrated that one new state in particular stood out as a locale with the greatest opportunity. With these preliminary results, MoreVisibility further researched and analyzed this #1 new state further, and pushed a larger campaign into this region to see if this would drive additional visits and revenue. The #1 new state became the 5th highest revenue generating state overall!
