Digital Content Specialist (Copywriter) Job Description:

MoreVisibility is seeking a passionate Digital Content Specialist to join our SEO – Content department and help envision and develop optimized content for our clients.

This role will be responsible for analyzing the web presence of our clients, developing a vision for improving the client’s business KPIs using content, and then writing content and working with a designer where needed to bring that vision to life in graphics. While you won’t be required to have technical SEO or website development expertise, a lot of the work will involve clients making changes to their website, so a passion for and an understanding of the fundamentals of how search engines and websites work will be important.

The position will work closely with our Account Management and Search Engine Optimization teams internally and will be required to present deliverables to clients at times.

Digital Content Specialist (Copywriter) Responsibilities

  • Audit the digital content of our client’s websites and identify opportunities for the improvement of existing website content and the creation of new website content based on the client’s data, target audience, keyword research, and business objectives.
  • Help execute on a content strategy (to include organic social media) developed by your peers, which outlines our vision and prioritized roadmap for improving their business KPIs using content which you will write.
  • Create (copywriting and editing) engaging content on behalf of clients. This would include copy found on websites, blogs, social media, thought leadership articles, etc.
  • Provide recommendations on ideal keywords or phrases clients should focus on for optimal organic visibility of their content/website.
  • Interest in regularly following digital media trends, as well as staying on top of new channels to promote content.

 

Digital Content Specialist (Copywriter) Job Requirements

  • Excellent writing skills (digital copy) required – samples will be requested.
  • Experience creating content for the web (copywriting, social media copywriting, design brief creation, etc.).
  • Experience with SEO and its impact on a content strategy.
  • Experience measuring, reporting, and presenting insights on content performance.
  • Expert attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of User Experience (UX) best practices for the web.
  • Understanding of website fundamentals and general limitations.
  • Ability to communicate internally to colleagues and externally to clients.
  • Quick learner and creative problem solver.
  • Ability to multitask and work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborates well with others on group projects to work toward a shared goal.
  • Works well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Independent worker; self-motivated.

*Prior Content Creation/Copywriting and SEO experience required.

Compensation & Location

This is a permanent, full-time position. We offer a working location that meets your needs – either remote or hybrid (our office is in Boca Raton, FL). There will be some time required during the year to work from our office, which you will have ample advance notice for.
