The SEO Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with our clients (and internal team) with the primary goal of increasing visibility and organic rankings for their website and digital content. This position provides strategic direction and technical guidance to our clients, while analyzing progress and success through a variety of platforms to better inform our future SEO roadmap.
As a technical member of our Optimized Services Department, you will collaborate with colleagues focused on social media and content strategy plus Copywriting, while reporting to the Vice President of that team.
Passion for SEO and study all the latest ethical techniques and breaking news/algorithm changes. (We follow best practice guidelines only).
Work closely with colleagues to test different search engine optimization tactics and web site design ideas to improve organic rankings for clients’ sites.
Review and analyze web sites, identifying areas for technical improvement and change relative to SEO. Communication of these findings (and resolutions of issues) provided to clients via video meetings.
Develop SEO recommendations to include strategic key phrase placement within compelling copy that maximizes opportunities for indexing, ranking, click-through, and conversion.
Responsible for advising on off-site SEO tactics and strategies.
Analyze results through site and content ranking reports, as well as website analytics, to determine what is working within the strategy and any necessary changes required.
Troubleshoot advanced technical SEO issues with successful resolution and presentation of findings (internal and external).
Prior SEO experience required, a focus on technical work preferred.
Passion for helping organizations within a variety of industries (both B2B and B2C) inform and engage their audience.
Knowledge and prior use of common SEO tools and reporting platforms, to also include Google Analytics. Experience with Conductor/Searchlight a plus.
Ease to express ideas and recommendations in a non-technical manner.
Ability to communicate internally to colleagues and externally to clients – via phone, email and during meetings or presentations.
Agency experience is preferred.
Quick learner and creative problem solver.
Ability to multitask and work on several projects simultaneously.

Works well under pressure and tight deadlines.
This is a permanent, full-time position. Ideally looking for a candidate within South Florida to work in a hybrid capacity – remote and spending some time in-office (Boca Raton, FL). Salary plus benefits and perks.
