Boca Raton, FL, August 19, 2015 – This summer, MoreVisibility hosted a “boot camp” style webinar series in order to give online marketers a comprehensive look at an important, and often misunderstood, topic – Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Billed as “SEO Summer Camp” the live webinar series offered marketers the opportunity to dive deeply into some of SEO’s most important topics, including SEO fundamentals, Technical SEO, Link Building and Keyword Research. The four SEO Summer Camp sessions are now available to download – on demand at no charge.
The holistic, “ground up” approach to SEO was designed to teach marketers the fundamentals, as well as provide prescriptive ideas for optimizing their web presences.
As Matt Crowley, Senior Manager, Optimized Services at MoreVisibility, explained: “Because SEO is highly technical, and ever-changing, we tend to see a lot of confusion regarding what works. Complicating this are frequent search engine algorithm updates. Some marketers may not want to ‘take the plunge’ into SEO for concern they’ll ‘get it wrong.’ With the Summer Camp, we worked to provide a fun, interactive, Best Practices series to help ease that trepidation and make SEO accessible. ”
Among the Best Practices discussed during the series were those related to link building, the practice of building links from external sources to the pages of your website in order to help drive traffic, awareness, and greater Organic ranking potential in the Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs).
Khrysti Nazzaro, MoreVisibility’s Vice President, Brand Strategy, says, “Link Building is one area where there tends to be a lot of uncertainty – especially given changes over the last few years. Marketers are not sure what actually ‘works’ to create quality, relevant links to their sites. This is one of the main reasons we wanted to include a webinar solely centered around Best Practices link building – to clarify that confusion.”
Additional webinars focused on other key topics in SEO, including Technical SEO, hosted by MoreVisibility’s Senior Manager, Optimized Services, Matt Crowley and Keyword Research, presented by April Nelson.
The action-oriented approach helped make the series a success. Many attendees called it “highly impressive” and said they’d be back for more.
Lucky for them, the next “boot camp” style webinar series is right around the corner. MoreVisibility will be announcing a new series in the fall; and for those in South Florida, the company has just announced a live Workshop hosted in collaboration with Google on September 16, 2015 in Ft. Lauderdale.
