MoreVisibility Supports the American Cancer Society in Fight Against Breast Cancer

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the MoreVisibility team is thrilled to be participating in a great cause, the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The event is a noncompetitive 3 to 5 mile walk centered around raising awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer. This year’s South Florida Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event, will be held on October 21, 2017. MoreVisibility is proud to help support this worthy cause in our local community.

Apart from skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer type in women. In fact, this year about 252,710 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed and about 63,410 new cases of carcinoma in situ (CIS) will be diagnosed (CIS is non-invasive and is the earliest form of breast cancer).
