A little snowstorm or Nor’easter didn’t deter our friends at Conductor (founders of the Searchlight reporting platform) from hosting their annual Digital Marketing conference, C3, in New York City last week. As one of their trusted partners for many years, MoreVisibility was proud to help Sponsor the event, as well as participate through speaking and exhibiting. What came as a big surprise to all of us in attendance, was the acquisition announcement made by Conductor just prior to the show. They are now part of the WeWork family of businesses. It’s our feeling that this change will be positive, as it will likely bring additional resources and support to the Searchlight product, which we use with many of our SEO and Content Strategy clients.
No surprise, a huge theme of the conference was Content. Matt Crowley, our Sr. Director of Optimized Services, gave a presentation alongside one of our clients, Lisa Bonsall from Lippincott NursingCenter, on balancing Organic growth with content monetization requirements. This is an area where many content providers struggle to find an appropriate balance on what information they should share and which content should remain gated. We provided some great information on how MoreVisibility has worked alongside NursingCenter to test and experiment exactly what that balance should be.
