Profound Beauty, an innovative haircare company, partnered with MoreVisibility to take their online marketing efforts to a new level. With a newly designed website, the company faced challenges, one of which included customers and prospective buyers not being able to easily find their products through organic search within a highly competitive industry.
With the desire for search engine optimization (SEO) to be their primary focus from the beginning, a search engine optimization consultation program was initiated in December 2008.
During this program, keyword research was conducted to guide the keyword targeting strategy and MoreVisibility’s experienced SEO Engineers conducted an in-depth search engine optimization review of the website. During this review, SEO issues and concerns were addressed and detailed recommendations were provided to correct those that were found.
Throughout the SEO consultation program and as the recommended changes were implemented to the website, Google Analytics and keyword position reports were sourced heavily to monitor success.
As of early April 2009, Profound Beauty’s website has experienced a 45% increase in organic traffic from Google and a 60% increase in organic traffic from Yahoo. We have also seen the website traffic increase by nearly 30% and the average page views increase by 26%. As the SEO results are still unfolding, we look forward to seeing additional improvements in the months to come.
The SEO has definitely paid off, that’s for sure. And when I look at the value of the traffic coming from organic search these visitors have a lower bounce rate, higher conversion rate and higher average order – so anything that lifts the visitors coming in from search is a win, win, win!
